Prophetic Possibilities for the Hebrew Year 5783
Intro:
The Hebrew language and number system is rich with pictures and prophetic meaning.
I recommend the website: hebrewforchristians.com
Beginning with the year 5780 it seems as though we entered a new era. The number 80 is the Hebrew word “Pey” or mouth. This is a time to be carful what we say. Jesus said that out of the heart the mouth speaks. If you will listen to your words, you will know what is in your heart. Also it is a time to use the power of the mouth (words) to pray, prophecy, declare, and decree. Write out some decrees of these prophetic meanings and declare them in this coming year.
I believe also that beginning in the year 5780 (2020) began a season of God shaking everything that can be shaken.
Haggai 2:6–9 “For thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; 7 and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts. 8 ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the Lord of hosts. 9 ‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.” (See also Hebrews 12:26)
-Don’t fear the shaking
-Hide under the shadow of His Wings
-After the shaking comes “glory”
-After the shaking come “prosperity”
-After the shaking comes “peace”
God has a purpose for the shaking and it is for His greater good.
Three possible prophetic insights to the year 5783
(The number 3 is the Hebrew word Gimmel)
1. A year of outpouring of the Holy Spirit
Many times the number three speaks of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
In this case the one (5781) or “aleph” represents the Father
The two (5782) or “Bet” represents the Son
And the three (5783) or “Gimmel” represents the Holy Spirit
It is a picture of the Son pouring out the Spirit upon us.
Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me
is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy
Spirit and fire.
2. A year of Accelerated Fruitfulness and maturity
This lesson is found in the story of Aaron’s Almond branch
Numbers 17:8 Now it came to pass on the next day that Moses went into the tabernacle of
witness, and behold, the rod of Aaron, of the house of Levi, had sprouted and put forth buds,
had produced blossoms and yielded ripe almonds.
The word “yielded” is from the same root word of Gimmel
Aaron’s branch suddenly (over night) “sprouted” and “budded” and “yielded” ripe almonds.
-Believe the Lord for some sudden fruitfulness.
-Believe that some areas in your life that have been unfruitful will suddenly bear good fruit
-Believe that some of your prayers that haven’t born fruit until now, will in this year suddenly
produce mature ripe fruit. (Read and meditate upon John 15)
3. This is a year of Abundant Supply
One of the pictures of Gimmel is that of a camel
A camel also speaks of a caravan of camels traveling in the middle east laden with the riches of
a trade route.
Gideon is a picture of this. His name starts with Gimmel. And he received the riches of the
camels that came into the land. (See Judges 6-8)
Judges 8:21 So Zebah and Zalmunna said, “Rise yourself, and kill us; for as a man is, so is his
strength.” So Gideon arose and killed Zebah and Zalmunna, and took the crescent ornaments
that were on their camels’ necks.
In the Aaronic blessing found in Numbers 6. The words “the Lord bless you” speak of the Lord
kneeling before you and giving to you all of His blessings. More than you could think or imagine.
More specifically it speaks of Him “off loading” and giving to you. Can you imagine Father
coming toward you leading a caravan of camels laden with all of His promises and purposes
and provision for you. As He gets to you he causes the camel to kneel and He off-loads every
good gift and kneels before you to hand them to you.
YOUR CAMELS ARE COMING
Note: Camels are not a fast mode of transportation. This coming year is going to be a
combination of some “suddenly” seasons of fruitfulness and some other seasons of “waiting
patiently” for your camels of supply to get here.
Hebrews 6:11–12 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full
assurance of hope until the end, 12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who
through faith and patience inherit the promises.
