For our KBS “grand finale,” Deanne, Carly and Joshua shared on Honor and Glory and being changed in God’s presence in the morning session. In the afternoon, Pastor Bill spoke on drinking in Holy Spirit, as well as the importance of empowering women in the church. More than half of our students in KBS this year were women. Throughout the week we have seen many of them rise, as they have shared testimonies and spoken out what they have learned. We believe that this message helped to solidify this new position of boldness and authority, both in their own hearts and in the hearts of the other leaders present. Each participant was then presented with a certificate to acknowledge each one’s completion of KBS 2013. 141 students, young and old, came forward to receive a certificate.
Afterward a few more people came to us for prayer. One woman had come to KBS on Wednesday with a cane because she had pain in her feet and legs and it was difficult for her to walk. One of the pastors prayed for her on Thursday, after which she no longer needed her cane! She came to us on Friday because she was still having some difficulty walking, and after she received prayer, she said the pain left completely and it was much easier for her to walk. Another woman had pain in her shoulders and could not lift her arms above her elbows. After prayer, she testified that her pain was also gone and she could lift her arms above her head! Another woman had just come from the hospital after the miscarriages of twins at 5 months. Carly ministered emotional and physical healing to her as well as solidified the giving of her life to Jesus. Thank You, Lord!
