Miracle Baby

My newest cousin, Sawyer, arrived today–May 12th–although his due date is not until the beginning of September. He is only a little larger than a pound and a half and about 12 inches long. This is something remarkable because, according to doctors, he is considered within one to two days of viability. Had Sawyer arrived even a day or two earlier, he would not have been able to survive outside of the womb. Also a miracle, Sawyer needed to be resuscitated following his emergency delivery. Had he been at any other hospital in our area, they would not have resuscitated because of his being so close to the viability date. To look at him in his incubator with tubes and monitors everywhere, it is already clear that there is a destiny for this child and God is revealing Himself even in Sawyer’s premature birth!
