Saturday, November 09 – Côte d’Ivoire

We were happy to arrive at our destination Saturday morning. Thomas and Florent spent part of the day with us, along with a new translator named Alex. Pastor Bill and Pastor Mary Pat were able to speak life and hope into difficult circumstances some of them faced this past year. We had other visitors throughout the day, including a pastor and a group of elders from the CME church where we will be hosting our first Kingdom Bible School in Cote d’Ivoire. They shared that they are thankful we are here and are eager to receive the training we will provide. We are expectant for all that God will do throughout the week!

After a tasty meal of Mama Vera’s legendary Jollof rice, the pastors headed out to meet with a group of pastors, including Pastor Elijah, another partner from last year. They discussed the importance of unity amongst pastors so they can work together to further the Kingdom. The other team members spent the evening in worship and prayer, thanking God for the opportunity to share his love with the precious people of Cote d’Ivoire and Ghana!
