Reaching the Poor in the Slums

This evening we met in a church located next to a slum and the presence of God fell in that place.  Our contacts have been assisting this church with food and transportation money for those who attend. Tonight, 125 people came and received from the Lord for both their physical and spiritual needs.  Ina translated as Pastor Bill and Pastor Mary Pat shared on the greatness of God and our need for an intimate relationship with the Father.  Thirty-five responded to the call of Jesus and prayed with Troy, who then encouraged the new believers in taking their first steps.  Pastor Bill, led by Holy Spirit, shared about his personal testimony of being healed of malaria and then declared healing in that place.  After a corporate prayer for healing, one man testified of his back pain leaving him while another man testified that his eye problem that was causing discharge from his eyes.  Another lady with an eye problem shared that her vision was now clear.  Due to a fall two weeks earlier, a little girl felt only a tingling sensation and numbness from her knees down.  After prayer, the feeling in her legs returned to normal!  A man struggling with a hearing distortion problem was instantly healed.
