On Thursday evening, we decided to do things a little differently. We all went over to the soup kitchen, in order to reach the people who live in the surrounding houses. We took our sound equipment, and the worship team set up in the soup kitchen and projected praise and worship over the community for several hours. The rest of the team was able to hold, pray over, and play with the children, and several people were able to minister to adults who came to see what was happening. We felt that it was very important to break through the spiritual darkness in the community with worship, and the peace of God was very evident at the end of the night.
