Monday, November 11, 2019 – Côte d’Ivoire

We began the week with our first day of Kingdom Bible School. This is our first time to offer KBS here in Cote D’Ivoire, and the CMA church where we are holding the school quickly began to feel like home! Using Scriptures and carefully selected images, Pastor Mary Pat taught on the truth of the Gospel and the invitation we have been given to join the family of God. The team offered impromptu dramas in both the morning and afternoon sessions to help illustrate key Bible passages like Ephesians 1:4-5. To finish the day, we had an anointed time of soaking in the Lord’s presence. The concept of soaking was a new one, and it was so wonderful to see many of the students touched by the peace of God and receiving prophetic pictures. One highlight of the day was a joyful reunion with Jeremiah and his family. Last year, Jeremiah was close to death when we prayed for him in his house, and he chose to cut ties with darkness and follow Jesus. After the trip, we got word that he was fully healed and wanting to use his life to serve Jesus. What a sweet thing to see him full of life, smiling and joyfully giving all the glory to Jesus! His whole family stayed for KBS, where Jeremiah gave his testimony, and he and his mother shared a song of praise. It doesn’t get any better than that!
