Heavenly Wisdom and the Glory

As the sun rose today, the team prepared to minister at Iris Zimpeto’s weekly worship and prayer meeting for pastors and missionaries. As all present danced and ministered to the Lord with traditional African rhythms, the presence of the Lord came down and prepared every heart to hear the message. Pastor Mary Pat shared a message from 1 Corinthians 2 about relying on God’s wisdom, not human wisdom. She shared about how Jesus struggled at Gethsemane (Matthew 26) and how the enemy will attack us in our minds, hearts, and souls, but it is important to completely depend upon the Father as Jesus did so that we do not fall into any traps.

 After the message, Pastor Mary Pat called Pastor Nico up and gave him a strong prophetic word. Then, she invited everyone to come forward and the team prayed to release the Father’s love and joy to each person. Many were touched by the Lord’s presence as Holy Spirit was poured out.

It was late when we finished the gathering. After a quick lunch of peanut butter and jelly, the team got to play with the children from the children’s center. Meanwhile, Pastor Mary Pat spent the afternoon and early evening teaching all the pastors in the Bible school. The pastors were enjoying their time so much that they asked her to teach past the scheduled time. They especially enjoyed all the impartation on the glory of God. It is amazing to see God’s love poured out in so many lives at Zimpeto today.
