In each of the communities we taught the children out of Ephesians 6:10-20 about the armor of God and being strong in the Lord.  For their craft today they made a shield of faith as part of the armor of God. We encouraged them to use their shield to combat the attacks of the enemy. In the soaking session we shared about how God wants to remove all fear in their lives.  We introduced them to the Prince of Peace. Several of the youth felt peace during the prayer and soaking time. They loved the song “No Longer Slaves” by Jonathan and Melissa Helser even tho they couldn’t understand the words. A jr high boy said the song made him feel good inside. 

In Cidade de Deus, we shared the same truths with the children. We also had a time of sharing the gospel with the them during the lesson and about ten children prayed to receive Jesus for the first time!
