Freedom Cry 2019
September 7, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
You are invited to join us at our 5th annual Freedom Cry Conference! Come on Saturday, September 7, 2019 to Frontline Ministries International, 6200 Wales Ave. NW, Massillon, Ohio 44646 (Jackson Township) from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Learn how you can make a difference in the realm of anti-human trafficking.
This year, we are pleased to be hosting 2 trafficking survivors and dynamic speakers, Melissa Emerson from Texas and Brooke Smith from Ohio.
Melissa was the first recipient of the Courageous Award from the Trafficking in America Task Force. Mrs. Emerson has assisted the development of national human trafficking legislation, trained law enforcement and federal agents, and trained medical personnel on a national level. As an investigator, she has worked on numerous missing children cases. Her story of enslavement and redemption is powerful and impacting.
Brooke’s story led her from her childhood home, to the strip clubs of Detroit, ultimately to Hollywood, and back again. A courageous and insightful speaker, Mrs. Smith has been rescued and restored to wholeness, and is committed to helping others find freedom.
In addition, we will hear from regional leaders Chief Mark Brink, Chief of Police of Jackson Township; Darci Knight, Assistant Prosecutor of Stark County; Patti Hostetler, Director of Hannah’s House 119; Suzanne Lewis-Johnson, Director of Rahab Ministries; and Bill and Mary Pat Gokee, Directors of Frontline Ministries International. As part of the collaborative effort to end these atrocities, they will share how to recognize trafficking, how to respond appropriately, and how to rescue and restore those affected by the many forms of exploitation and slavery. We hope to see you at this important event!
Please let us know you plan to attend by registering below. Freedom Cry Conference is free and open to the community. CLEs and Continuing Education Contact Hours will be offered.
Let’s join together, we are a voice for the voiceless.
