Building up Local Businessmen

Tuesday evening the team went to downtown Jakarta for a meeting at a local businessman’s home where we have ministered in the past each year. Pastor Bill imparted a powerful message on the Father’s Heart to a group of Christian business and government men, as our Indonesian team member, Tania, translated.

Pastor Bill shared about what it means to have the heart of a son instead of an orphan, and how to walk in great joy where we obey not out of a sense of duty, but because we are so in love with Father God. Everyone listened intently, and as Pastor Bill started to sing a song over everyone about the Father’s heart of love, the atmosphere of Heaven filled the room.

After a time of prayer and worship, one of the men shared an impression he had during the ministry time. This man felt the Holy Spirit speaking to him that he was a beloved child, and God was more interested in changing him on the inside, not the outside. Some of the other men chimed in with spiritual questions for the team. It was a very precious time speaking into the lives of these men, many of whom are influential around the city of Jakarta. We thank God for showing up in such a powerful way!
