A “Bar” Encounter

Blaring music greeted our team as we walked up to the bar on the corner near the mission house in Heliopolis.  The owner of the bar gave us permission to show  them a dance from the States. The people loved it, and the presence of God came so strongly as we also performed an evangelistic drama. Afterwards, Troy preached a powerful message of God’s love and plan for blessing in their lives.  The people were clearly touched by the message and at least 5 of the 30+ people gave their lives to Jesus! One lady was actually in tears as she was receiving prayer and experiencing God’s loving embrace. It truly was an amazing “Bar” encounter with Jesus!
