Fun Day with the Children

The kids at the home have limited opportunities for recreation outside of the homes. A yearly “fun day” is typically provided as resources allow.  Our team provided this fun day at a local park, complete with a couple of water slides and small pool.  We loved seeing these young people enjoy their day full of group games, swimming, cricket, badminton, and food!  Since this was our last time with all the children together, we were able to give each of them gifts we had purchased to bless them. The children were so excited to receive their new gifts, including soccer balls, badminton equipment, a Frisbee, chess boards, dolls, stickers, hair barrets and headbands, bracelets, earrings, journals, pens and more. Their heart of gratitude was beautiful! Thank you Lord for a fun, safe day at the park.
