Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Outreach

As our team walked into the drug and rehabilitation center for men located two hours outside of Nova Friburgo, we trusted the Lord to bring needed freedom into the needy hearts. The Teen Challenge ministry was founded nineteen years ago to enable men to live set-apart lives out in the country, as the Lord brings transformation to them, enabling them to re-enter society free from addictions.

After the pastor welcomed our team and shared his own testimony of deliverance from drugs and violence, our team ministered through drama to fifty men as Andy and Nikki shared their testimonies of how their lack of the revelation of the Father’s love had adversely affected their lives and how Jesus restored them. Mary Pat preached on the Father’s heart resulting in most of the men coming forward to receive prayer for their wounded hearts. As they knelt down and began to weep, the Lord brought forgiveness and restoration to their hearts. It was a powerful time of ministry as the men on our team were able to kneel down, hug, and pray for all the men that came forward. The pastor there was very encouraged by the message, and stated that the men also needed to hear and receive this ministry.
