Fire and Joy

At church this morning, part of the team returned to Pastor Lazarus’ Church for morning service. We enjoyed joining hearts and voices with the congregation as they danced and sang their traditional music. Denny played an anointed original song declaring the power and presence of God. We worshipped to the chorus of the song in English and Shangan as Pastor Jose translated it for the congregation. It was a beautiful blend of voices and languages. Then, Pastor Mary Pat imparted to the church about how God desires a deep connection with each of us and how He brings freedom as we draw near to him. Many churchgoers were moved by the prophetic words shared by Pastor Mary Pat, Andy, Tiana, and Jaimie. The service ended with a prayer for more Holy Spirit and an outbreak of JOY!
