Reaping the Harvest in Nhabete
The Bible says you will reap what you sow. Last year, Frontline was able to financially bless Nhabete, a growing village cut off from the nearby highway by an outcropping of trees. We arrived this afternoon to a multitude of singing and dancing women and children waiting to greet us. Piles of cinder block and carefully surveyed land were signs that our support was helping to provide much needed renovations to the one room church. We were warmly welcomed by the pastor of this church, a lively man with a zeal for the Lord and a heart for His people. We could tell he was excited to have us here again, and we were happy to be back. As we looked around, we shared memories of the amazing things God did here last year, including healing the swollen hand of a man who had been bitten by a snake, and a number of people renouncing witchcraft and receiving freedom from the darkness that had entangled them. We couldn’t wait to see what God had in store this year!
At our crusade, elderly women who had come with leg and back pain were now bending over, hopping, and dancing after being healed. One woman who had asthma testified that she was healed and could breathe easily for the first time in 3 years! More and more people gathered as shouts of joy and praise to our King went out across the land. After hearing a spirited presentation of the Gospel, 47 people prayed to receive Jesus into their hearts. This joyous night ended with a group of children from the village leading worship, a beautiful expression of thanks to our Father in Heaven.
