India

  • India (Summer 1998) – Pastors Bill and Mary Pat led a team over 20 young people to India for four weeks to work with Real Impact Missions, where we saw about 90 people give their lives to the Lord. We spent our time sharing Christ and helping in the areas of work projects and medical outreach in the relatively closed areas of Calcutta and Varanasi.
  • India (March 2004) – FMI sent a leadership team of 5 to Southern India to work with various indigenous ministries, teaching in their Bible Schools, sharing Christ with the lost, and ministering healing.
  • India (March 2009) – We had an incredible amount of new ministry opportunities and contacts open up for this trip. One of these is Rev. Jaipaul Papabathinini, a national leader with many ministry connections in India. These include a children’s home, a school of evangelism, a sewing micro-enterprise venture for needy women, working with women at risk, a medical clinic, and much more. In addition to serving in these areas, we were also involved in evening outreaches to local villages. In addition, Pastor Bill and Pastor Mary Pat Gokee led a pastor’s conference there in the city of Chillakallu.
Our team was also able to reach out to a leper colony, remote villages, and hungry pastors in the area of Rajamundry. In addition, we worked with a group of 400 children who have been rescued from the sex industry in Southeastern Asia.
