Chemba

During our two days in Chemba, we were able to hold an outreach crusade on two evenings and spend an afternoon encouraging many Mozambican church leaders. On Thursday afternoon, the pastors and leaders gathered in the church to receive teaching and impartation. Pastor Jose, Pastor Mary Pat, Troy, and Carl were all able to share in this session, and everyone left feeling encouraged and strengthened in the Lord.

Our final night in Chemba was exciting as a large crowd gathered once again to sing, dance, and listen to the Gospel message. As Pastor Mary Pat preached, the crowd began to respond in excitement to the Good News. When asked who would like to receive Jesus, around 250 people raised their hands and joined in prayer to accept Jesus into their hearts. As we prayed for healing, many testified of pains leaving their bodies. One woman shared that she had been sick for three days and was unable to hear, but Jesus touched her, the fever left her, and she was able to hear! Praise God for drawing many into His Kingdom and demonstrating His healing power in Chemba!
