Prophecy Abounds at Casa de Jesus

We were delighted to worship at Casa de Jesus Sunday morning, our home church in São Paulo right in the heart of the Heliopolis favela.  Pastor Mary Pat shared a message about resting in God’s presence and how it’s not just laying down or relaxing, but it’s an attitude of being still before the Lord and allowing Him to find a resting place in us and remaining in a constant state of worship (1. Cor. 13:16-18). Pastor Bill then preached about how strong our God is, and how He has over 700 names which all represent who He wants to be for us.

After Pastor Bill finished, Pastor Mary Pat felt the Lord wanted to release prophetic words over people in the congregation. Each team member had the opportunity to release a word over different people.  Then, Pastor Mary Pat asked if anyone in there congregation had had any word or pictures they had seen while the prophetic was being released. Several people came up to testify about what they had seen or heard from the Lord. One woman, Thelma, saw Pastor Bill on the clouds in Heaven while he was preaching. Another Man saw the Holy Spirit next to and all around/over Paster Dirceu. Our dear friend Eunice had a word for one of the young girl’s here this morning. This same girl also had a picture/word for her friend about the Lord’s protection.

After this, Pastor Mary Pat had all the children come up front where she laid hands on them and prayed for them. The team then gave prophetic words for each child “popcorn” style (short, quick words).  To finish up the service, Pastor Mary Pat had the rest of the adults that did not receive words come up and the team prayed over them and gave them all words of encouragement, destiny, and the heart of the Father towards them. It was a powerful release of Holy Spirit!
