Kingdom Bible School in our beautiful and peaceful church pavillion began with lots of smiles, as well as teaching about God’s love and plan for intimate connection with us, as laid out in Ephesians 1:4-5. After a very clear explanation of the Gospel, Pastor Mary Pat led everyone in a prayer of salvation. Afterward, Pastor Vera Quarcopoome spoke over everyone, reaffirming the love God has for them, and the importance of leaving all behind to follow Him. In the process of describing the love of the Father, we drew a big heart on the white board and helped the Ghanians fill it in with words that describe the Father’s heart.

During our second session in the afternoon, all the team members shared more about these truths with the help of pictures that we projected up onto our makeshift screen, a white sheet. That evening, we used the same sheet to show the Jesus Film to the KBS participants. It is always moving to see their reactions, especially to the crucifixion scene. After the film, Audrey and Carly prayed over everyone and sent them off to have a peaceful night of sleep in their tents.
