4 Miles to Salvation

I was giving a guy a ride today. The distance was only 4 miles. Not much time to witness, but I did anyway. He said he heard about Jesus and wanted to know how to have him in his life. I shared the gospel then led him through a prayer of salvation. He said he could feel a difference. He said he had seen me around for a while and I was always smiling and he knew I had something different and want to know what it was. Now he is smiling with a new heart and love. Thank you Jesus.

Healing during 24/7 Prayer Week

During the week of 24/7 prayer and worship, two healings occurred in my family – I experienced one and one was received by my eighty-four-year-old dad. And I was not even present for the particular worship service the night when healing broke out in such a powerful manner.

I had injured my back slightly at the beginning of FWC’s 24/7 prayer and worship week. A couple of folks prayed for me and healing had commenced in the affected area and was in progress. However, I re-injured my back in a more serious manner mid-week and was in great pain. I could not sit, stand, or walk without focused effort for any length of time. Sleep was not possible. I just could not find a position in which to rest. I determined to still keep the time slot for prayer to which I had committed and to attend worship in the evening. It was not easy and it was not all that much fun. But I went. I planned to ask someone to pray with me at the conclusion of the service, but the service ran long and we had to pick up our son from work. No matter! The goodness and healing power of the love of the Lord prevailed! Following that evening’s worship service, I walked out of the worship center pain free! The next morning I was able to fully function and resume normal activity! Amazing! Praise God!

All during the week of 24/7 prayer and nightly worship, I had been lifting prayers for healing concerning family members — my dad being one of those. He had three weeks previously been diagnosed with diabetes. Upon diagnosis, he had been immediately put on meds and sent to a special nutritionist for instruction on new eating patterns and on living an adjusted lifestyle. This past Monday, he returned to his doctor because he was feeling so lousy on the new meds. Following an exam and various medical tests, the doctor took Dad off the meds and removed the “diabetes” label. My dad is no longer considered diabetic! A major miracle! Thank You, Lord! What an amazing God we serve and love! His unfailing love so overwhelming! Glory to God!

Filled with Fire, Foot Pain Gone

During the ministry time I got a word that somebody wanted more fire. I called it out and a guy came forward. As I prayed he was slain in the spirit and became drunk in the spirit. He tried to get up several times during the meeting and fell down each time. Finally somebody had to give him a ride home. A woman came forward for healing. She had pain in her foot from twisting it. After prayer she walked around and jumped on it. She said the pain was gone. Thank you Jesus.

Vertigo Healed!

Today I was cleaning an office in downtown Akron, and one of the ladies who works at the office- Shanda- was not feeling well. She was very dizzy and had stomach problems. I talked with her a little bit and then asked if I could pray for her. She gladly said yes, so I prayed and spoke God’s love over her. I asked her if she felt better, she said no, but I felt God’s power and presence strongly when I prayed and I knew she was touched, so I told her to walk it off and gave her a testimony of how someone was healed after I left them.

She then left to go to the doctor, where she has gone routinely because she has had vertigo. She told me that the doctor would always put goggles on her and time after time he would tell her that it is still there, but today after praying, the doctor put the goggles on her eyes to check them out and he said it is completely gone- absolutly no vertigo! She then called me on my phone after leaving the doctor and she couldn’t believe it- she was so excited and so relieved to be free of vertigo. She went back to the office and told her friend, and her friend flipped out and was so astonished! They both were so amazed! When Shanda told me this I couldnt stop laughing! God is so great! Wow!!! I’m so amazed! Do it again Lord!

Cough and Congestion Leave!

Last week, I was sitting in class and a girl behind me, Danielle, was coughing and her cough sounded really bad. When class ended, I asked her about it, and she told me that she had been dealing with it all week and that was the reason why she wasn’t in class the previous day.

I laid my hand on her chest and commanded healing into her lungs. I asked her if there was a difference, and she said no, there wasn’t, so we walked down the hallway and I told her testimonies of healings I’ve seen God do and asked if I could pray one more time. She said yes, so in the middle of the hall I began praying again and she said that she still felt no change. I felt the power of God move through me so I knew something happened so I told her to walk it out and that it will start feeling better.

In class today she grabbed me and with big eyes and a huge smile she told me that after I left her her lungs cleared up completely, and her nose (which I didn’t even pray for) instantly cleared up and she was made completly well! She told me she ran to her friend and told her friend all that happened- how I prayed for her twice and when walking away feeling completly better. Wow! I’m so amazed!! Jesus do it again!
