Freedom House

The Freedom House was founded within FMI and FWC with the desire to see people locally and globally walking in the abundant life and freedom they were created for.

The Lord has called His children to walk in wholeness in every area of life and then release that same freedom to others! Isaiah 61:1 and Luke 4:18-19 clearly illustrate the life we were meant to live and release to others: Kingdom life, marked by Kingdom thinking, Kingdom expression, and Kingdom provision. He has “blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ” (Ephesians 1: 3) and wants us believe Him for that reality on every front.

Any area of loss in life (the enemy is designed to steal, kill, destroy) is a divine set up for King Jesus to touch with His healing hand so that freedom in Him is fully received and enjoyed. We are supernatural beings, citizens of a different place and reality (Philippians 3:20), and are to live that way.

As one seeks that life, John 17: 22-26 will come alive, as the Lord seeks those who desire His joy and for their lives to produce fruit that remains (John 15: 11, 16). Various avenues for this freedom include: courses/workshops in freedom/healing and deliverance, impartation from trained prophetic leaders, mission opportunities, and more.

Created for Freedom

Jesus desires that each of His children would walk in complete freedom in every area of their life! He paid a big price for our freedom so we could be brought into relationship with our Heavenly Father and live a life of love and wholeness with our Lord in righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17). This is intended to be the abundant life of every believer (John 10:10b).

We are three-part beings; we are a spirit, we have a soul (mind, will, and emotions) and we live in a body. The Bible tells us that we are new creatures in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17) when we are born again (the old things passed away, new things have come). This means that our spirit is made alive for the first time; the Spirit of God, His divine nature, lives on the inside of us, and the two are connected. This is our position in Christ with our new relationship with our Father.

To Be Made Whole

In this new relationship with Him, the Lord wants us to experience all of Him, becoming like Him in every way. The Bible reminds us (Romans 12:2) that we are being transformed (changed) daily “by the renewing of our mind” and the “renewing of the spirit of our mind” (Ephesians 4:23). His heartfelt desire for each of us is to bring restoration in all needed areas as stated in 1 Thessalonians 5:23, “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

This means that we are “under construction” inside and out, with the God of the universe living in us and making Himself fully known. The Greek word, “sozo”, is used over 100 times in the New Testament. It refers to total restoration of the body, soul, and spirit. It means to save, heal, and deliver…to be made whole. As a believer, we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3).

His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3a), which means that we are totally complete in Him and lack nothing. What an amazing miracle! He wants us to fully receive, experience, and encounter all that He has already given to us. What a great God!

From Rejection to Blessing

We were created to carry blessing in our lives, to be loved, received and cared for. We were born to know and love the One who accepts, loves, and approves of us and desires for us to realize and embrace His affections. His love covenant with His children is eternal and unbreakable. He tells us that we are precious to Him and all that is within us that doesn’t match up with His heart must be removed in order for our lives to be healthy.

Jesus was despised and rejected of men, a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief (Isaiah 53:3a). He took all rejection, pain, and complete sin upon Himself. Our sinless Lord became sin for us so we could be free. The price He paid for our freedom, for our healing, is unfathomable, and is worth understanding. In His Kingdom there is no sin, no sickness, no hurt, no pain, no wounding, no lies.

His perfect life was exchanged for our sin and sickness, and His hope is for us to live in the resurrection power of a new, kingdom life through Him. And since we were created in His image
(Genesis 1:26), He desires for us to live a healthy, supernatural, kingdom life on this earth! He wants us to be in agreement with His words from Matthew 6:10, “Your Kingdom come Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” For us personally, that means that He wants every part of us transformed into a true expression of His Kingdom heart.

We were not created to be rejected in any way. Rejection comes our way when acceptance for who we are is not offered or is withdrawn. There is an inward place in each of us that is unguarded and vulnerable, and can be touched. These areas may not be readily seen or recognized, at first.

Many times we are wounded and hurt by others and circumstances in our lives which affect these inward places. Also, there are weaknesses (curses) from our family lines that can adversely affect us and need to be removed. These wounds and weaknesses can mount up on the inside and spill into our lives in personal ways and in our relationships. If not healed and delivered, our view of and trust for God (and others) will become distorted, resulting in decreased closeness (intimacy) with Him (and others).Freedom HouseCycles of pain, hurt, and weakness will result in hurtful attitudes and actions. Also, the way we see ourselves can be affected by unhealed hurts, wounds and weaknesses. The Lord created us to know and see ourselves based on His view of us (Psalm 139). Anything other than belief is a lie, and left unattended will harm us and others.

Every person has basic needs in the emotional areas, that if not met, can result in wounding of the heart. These include, love that doesn’t ask for anything in return, just gives, and is freely expressed. This is the love of our Father that is to be demonstrated in our lives (Colossians 3:12 and 1 Thessalonians 1:4), especially by those who are close to us. Another need is that of protection – having a safe place to live and grow. Security is a vital need of the soul. Our Heavenly Father is our protector and our security, but may not be seen that way when we don’t feel safe and secure.

Also, we were created to feel valued and affirmed (built up), especially by those with significant influence in our lives. The Lord’s desire is for us to have those expressions of His heart properly shown to us in our life through our relationships. When that’s lacking or inappropriately offered, the deepest part of our hearts will be affected (Proverbs 18:14). Having a distorted view of Heavenly Father, Jesus, or Holy Spirit results in improperly relating to His heart of love for us.

When these negative responses become closely held on the inside, wounding will occur that can adversely affect our walk and relationship with the Lord and others. The Lord also built within us a desire to have purpose and value, a reason to live! Without that, we become weak on the inside, because the Bible tells us that “hope deferred makes the heart sick, but desire fulfilled is a tree of life” (Proverbs 13:12).

The Lord is the One who will meet all those needs for us and uses people (families, friends, etc.) to accomplish much in those areas. When we are lacking in the areas mentioned, no matter how “perfect” we think our life is or has been, negative patterns of thinking (habit structures of the mind; fortresses) can develop (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).

The Lord wants to deeply touch and heal these areas in our lives so we can fully embrace our relationship with Him, moving into the fullness of a fruitful life, as our destiny as His sons and daughters is walked out (Romans 8:15-17). We are to be free in every area, lovers of His Presence, and carriers of His glory!

The Truth Will Make You Free

When we minister “inner healing” or “healing of the heart” at FWC and FMI, the Lord is invited to reveal the root sources of any hurts, wounds, or lack on the inside of a person. He is able to zero in on the causes of our inner distresses and remove the pain and wounds that surround the lies we have received and live under.

Various avenues for healing are available through the Freedom House at FWC and FMI, including classes, courses/workshops in healing and deliverance, personal time with trained prophetic leaders, altar ministry, and more. We believe our Biblical mandate from the Lord is clear in Psalm 139:23-24 which states: “Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts; And see if there be any hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way.”

We desire to partner with you as you journey into deeper wholeness, so you can know in every area of your life that you are free from all bondage, as promised in John 8:32, “and you will know the truth and the truth will make you free.”
