Captivated
In His presence is fullness of joy, peace, and righteousness, as He dwells in our midst, finding a habitation in our hearts. The Lighthouse, a house of prayer within FMI, consists of simple worship and prayer which is patterned after our heavenly life as seen in Revelation 5:8-9:
“…the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song: ‘You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seal, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.’”
Additionally, the concept of “House of Prayer” is drawn from Isaiah 56:7, “Even those (foreigners) I will bring to My holy mountain and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar; For my house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples.”
Also, Jesus makes reference to this passage in Isaiah when he casts the money changers from the temple, as recorded in Matthew 21:13, Mark 11:17, and Luke 19:46, “And as He taught them, He said, ‘Is it not written: My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations? But you have made it a den of robbers.’”

Continual Worship
As seen in Amos 9:11 and Acts 15:16-18, the Lord is restoring the spirit and type of continuous expression of worship and prayer as seen in the life of David. As king, David established one example of a house of prayer known as the “Tabernacle of David”. In 1 Chronicles 16:1,4,37, we see a description of this house of prayer:
“And they brought in the ark of God and set inside the tent which David had pitched for it; moreover, David appointed certain of the Levites as ministers before the ark of the Lord, to invoke, to thank, and to praise the Lord, the God of Israel; so David left Asaph and his brethren there before the ark of the covenant of the Lord to minister continually before the ark as each day required.”
Prayer and praise went up from these houses of prayer night and day without ceasing. An example in 1 Chronicles 9:33 reads, “These are the singers, heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levites, who lodged in the chambers, and were free from other duties; for they were employed in that work day and night.”
David set up a pattern of continuous prayer, worship, and praise that mirrored the throne room, as seen in Revelation 4:8, “And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and day and night they do not cease to say, ‘HOLY, HOLY, HOLY IS THE LORD GOD, THE ALMIGHTY, WHO WAS AND WHO IS AND WHO IS TO COME.’”
This pattern of prayer was instrumental in establishing the seasons of righteousness and victory for the nation of Israel, marking the years of abundance and favor of the Lord. These patterns carried over into early Christianity and have been seen throughout Church history. Historically, the establishment of continuous houses of prayer has been very influential in the greatest Kingdom expansions, helping to usher in deep revival and spiritual awakening.
Watchmen
Times will be posted for individual and corporate opportunities of worship, prayer, and intercession which will be stepping stones for future day and night prayer to occur. From these times of refreshing and warfare, the Lord will continue to ignite His blazing inferno within each heart which will catapult each worshiper deeper into His presence and out into the world, destroying the works of darkness and effecting lasting change. The LIGHTHOUSE is open to all who desire to encounter the Lord as described above.
